What happened in the year 2005?
The year 2005
At has been another year full of events. A small look over the shoulder. What happened in the last 12 months?
Personally:
- Have been on some marvellous trips: Inzell (speedskating), Oslo and Argentina;
- Bought a house and it was (and still is) a hard way to get into the house. But I am going back to Amsterdam in January;
- For the first time in my life I had a job for a whole year. The Hogeschool van Amsterdam (School of professional education of Amsterdam)is my employer. It is hard to get used to because of the three hours trip a day, but I am learning every day and I have great collegues.
- I met a really nice guy, he only lives 10.000 kilometres from Apeldoorn;
- Eleven kids got killed because of family drama;
- The Dutch say no to Europe;
- Samir A and Mohammed B. places terrorism on the Dutch map. It is coming close;
- There is a lot of snow in March and in November. First it seems that the one in March is bad, but the one in November slows down life in the east. There is more then 800 kilometres of slow traffic. There has never been more.;
- A wet summer, especially the weeks I am off. The nicest days are the days I am in the office;
- High oil prices;
- Kidnapping of Claudia Melchers….. How long has it been that there was a important kidnapping out here? Soon it appears all not that professional and Claudia Melchers returns home safe;
- Princes Alexia, the second daughter of Willem Alexander and Maxima is born;
- Fire in Schiphol detention center;
- This year Queen Beatrix celebrates her 25th year as queen of the Netherlands;
- Wim Duisenberg and Frits Philips die;
International news
- Katrina makes America helpless for a moment;
- Terrorists attack in London’s subway;
- Pope Johannes Paulus the Second dies, an almost more conservative pope follows;
- Prince Rainier dies;
Sports
- Gold for Rens Blom, first Dutch gold at the World Championships Athletics and first golden medal for Youri van Gelder;
- The Dutch make it to the World Championships and will get some heavy competitions of Argentina and more;
- David di Tomassi, a soccer player dies at the age of 26 in his sleep;
- The Dutch do well in the champions league and UEFA cup
Well, offcourse a lot of other stuff went on. But for now this are the things that come to mind first…. Maybe some updates later….

Shit zeg, mijn hele opmaak isweg. Als ik geen dubbele enters zet, dan plaatst ie alles achter elkaar, maar dit ziet er ook niet echt uit... Zucht. Dit dus voor de overzichtjes
nou, het is wel overzichtelijk toch, nu.
Ik weet zo snel nog geen aanvullingen geloof ik.
misschien iets van criminelen die elkaar afslachten, maar verder weet ik het ook even niet zo....
gaan we trouwens nog een keer wat met hip doen...gewoon 1x per week fotootje posten of een zinnetje met een hip iemand, of sluiten we en blijven we hip doen op onze eigen sites?
Om eerlijk te zijn heb ik tegenwoordig totaal geen inspiratie voor hippe dingen. Ik vind het al moeilijk genoeg om m'n eigen site een beetje hip te houden en daar dingen voor te bedenken.
En in hippe fotootjes zoeken ben ik ook al niet goed, dat kost me steeds zo veel tijd. Wat mij betreft kunnen we dus beter op onze eigen blogs hip gaan doen, wat vind jij?
ik vindh et prima...we kunnen het altijd weer een keer oppakken. Misschien zijn we komende zomer of lente weer wat creatiever..... tot die tijd lekker HIP zijn op onze weblogs zal genoeg energie kosten :)
