The story about how Portugal won, or how the Dutch had to go down

We, the Dutch, only won once of the Portugese, but it seemed that every one was pretty sure that we would make it this time. Because this time we had the change to become World champion in Germany, and wouldn't that be something to fight for? Probably. But Portugal was, once more, stronger, tougher and smarter then the Dutch, and so it was a story about how the Dutch went down.

Despite all the chances we got and all the possibilities, Portugal was stronger party. Point of attention was the referee. What the hell was he thinking? Fourteen yellow cards (and 4 red) in one match??? On forehand everyone knew it would be tough. Just let it be tough and let them play! Oh well, maybe we will be lucky in two years and we do not have to meet Portugal till the finals....
