Vanmorgen weer bijtijds het bedje uit gerold, lekker ff onder een warme douche gesprongen en weer de vele laagjes aangetrokken. Hierna snel wat ontbijt naar achter getikt en richting de supermarkt gewandeld. Was het gisteren wat tegenvallend hoe ver de ijsbaan was, nu moeten we nog wat verder wandelen. Niet mijn hobby met zoveel laagjes aan.
Als we wat eten voor vandaag en morgen hebben ingeslagen ben ik eigenlijk wel toe aan een kop koffie, maar het koffietentje recht tegenover de baan is tot de nok toe gevuld met Nederlandse schaatsers en coaches ... beetje te veel mensen op een te klein oppervlak.
Als Anna en ik het stadion inlopen (Eef doet een poging om in haar bed van haar hoofdpijn af te komen en Mer is de stad nog even in) staat het oudere mannetje al achter onze stoelen te wachten. We krijgen te horen dat we te laat zijn. Men is al begonnen! Ehm ja ... we know. Vervolgens krijgen we een heel verhaal over dat Judith Hesse een soort bliksemspicht is. Helaas voor deze lieve meneer wordt Hesse niet veel later eruit geschoten. De rit daarna wordt ook Laurine van Riessen eruit geschoten. Lekker binnenkomen is dat. Anyway, het mannetje vertelt ons dat hij onze plekken heeft vrijgehouden en dat we kunnen gaan zitten. Verder kwebbelt hij voornamelijk tegen Anna, want ik volg dat gebitsloze Duits niet.
Ondertussen zie ik nu pas dat er een nieuw Argentijns iemand aan het front is ... Jennifer Caicedo. Van oorsprong een Colombiaanse die nu vor Argentinie uitkomt. Leuk! Gisteren hadden we ons ook al verbaasd over het hele front van Aussies .... leuk al die vernieuwing!
